Project Background

Delve interaction design team collaborates with BioLife Solutions (Start up company located in WA) to refine graphical user interface (GUI) and improve user experience on ThawSTAR CB. The machine has embedded touch screen, which interacts with users (Clinic people, nurses, and doctors) in order to thaw a frozen bag.

ThawSTAR CB  is an automated water-free  thawing system designed to thaw 25-1000 mL cryobags.  Operated through a simple touch screen,  ThawSTAR CB standardizes and streamlines cell thawing for consistent, documented results.  Six standard thawing algorithms are provided based on popular cyrobag sizes.  Additional thawing algorithms can be optimized for your specific application by a BioLife Solutions technical expert
